he aim has always been to deliver burnt cane to the mill in 72hr or less so that the loss in quality is not too great whilst making it practical for the grower from a burning point of view. Lately there have been a number of cases where this has been greatly exceed causing an obvious loss in quality which is compounded by the damaged caused by frost.

Updated maps- Feb 2014
Some growers have started to receive their updated maps from NCT, particularly those with an NCT timber quota. Growers must please check both their timber AND cane areas!
